With respect, I was hoping for an answer to a genuine question.

I put a fair bit of effort into getting M$ to give me win 10. I had to get them to recognize that my win 7 was genuine, it was not.

Anyhoo I look upon win 10 as a managed M$ system to play my games on. I am fine with sharing the OS with them and put up with the churn when it updates a lot of stuff. I have never had a problem with it. It is a better game playing system than win 7 and I’m pleased.

Now I don’t use windows seriously, just for my games which were built to run on windows. My system of choice, for over 20 years, is Slackware, and it’s bulletproof.
