SSD (solid state drives) are not ‘cards’. So if you mean SSD, the drive, it will not improve gaming FPS.
It WILL improve loading times for maps etc and MIGHT reduce FPS drops if large textures/areas have to be loaded in game, but this is unusual.
It WILL massively improve general usage in OS, programs and anything else stored on it. Note that if you still have pictures/videos on a standard HDD (like many of us do) these will still load at HDD speeds.
